Just wondering about seeds in different fruits. I know that apple, pear and grape seeds are poisonous but are other seeds ok, particularly kiwi fruit and tomato seeds. Thanks

I didn't know about grape seeds either, I always thought i read somewhere if you were to give them grapes, give them the seeded ones for extra nutrition

Wow, I didnt know cheese was ok. I was getting a little worried when Yoda was picking up some grated cheese off the kitchen bench other day.
Too be safe I dont allow my fids to eat any fruit seeds. Pumpkin seeds are good for them though.

the babies get HEAPS of grapes, seeded or non, whichever looks better at the time, they LOVE them, either way, and theyre both still here, so they cant be all THAT bad
didnt know about the cheese either, will keep it in mind.
The other seeds they get are pasionfruit (not only do they love crunching on them, the whole house smells gooooood), tomato, they like the occasional kiwi fruit, i just slice in 1/2 and hand over, but they get over it quickly.tried pumpkin and rockmelon, but should dry them next time lol they were too slimy to hold haha was funny to watch though.

yep just scoop them out into a seive, wash off the pulp and leave them to dry in the seive, I put them into a particular jar (with a red lid) they know is the treat jar and they will do anything for me when they see that treat jar. Its hilarious watching them trying to break into it when its left down where they can get to it.
