Where to put in the house?

Hi guys,

I recently moved into a three bedroom house from a 2 bedroom unit and I don't know whether to use the extra room as a bird room or keep them in the lounge room.
I know that keeping them in the lounge room will give them more human interaction and will help with the taming of Iago to be around humans as much as possible.
But keeping them in the room makes it easier at night when putting them to bed, is a lot more convenient as it gives us more space in the lounge and when we get a dog, it's easier to keep the dog away from them if we need.
What does everyone think I should do?

I keep mine in the living room, but it can be challenging to get everyone calmed down at night!

I have mine all in a birdroom, that comes off the lounge, it rocks, I love it. They get to come out when we want, not when they want  and they seem to like it that way too. Their own space plus plenty of time out with us.

I live in a 2 bedroom unit aswell. Its so cramped in here I have only got one place to put my birds. Where the dining table is supposed to be on the tiles next to the kitchen. I hate them so close to the kitchen but it hopefully wont be long before we get a bigger place.
I'd love them to have their own room. But my partner doesnt want them pooping on the carpet in the spare room and it would take away alot of the human interaction as the computer is right next to their cages right now. :(

ours are in the dining room, we have a spare room but Aarons spiders are kept in there. Our house is a fairly decent size and the dining room is off the kitchen and the birds live over near the laundry door and the hallway. They are very rarely in their cages other than to sleep but they very rarely get up to too much mischief.

I keep mine in the living room as well, but he gets excited over alot of things, especially the new baby nephew. But I don't know how I would feel closing just him off from the rest of the house. If you have a buddy for him it might be a good idea to let them have their own space and then have a play gym in the living room... just my opinion :D
