Too bad so sad
I have analyzed the cost benefit ratio of contributing to this board. The cost being my time having to listen to self-righteous, condescending, sanctimonious gasbags like **** vs. the benefit of good information here like "never let a bird stand on top of their cage" (also from ****) and it's clear to see there is no point in trying to interject any sense or contrary opinions to those who always believe they are right. I'm sorry that the rest of you have to put up know-it-alls like **** just to talk about your pets. So with that I bid the forums farewell!

I have edited the above because it was a personal attack. While I believe everyone should say how they feel, personal attacks are unacceptable here.
I am sorry to see you go faust1200 but I know everyone on this board has always had yours and your birds best interests at heart with any advice given.
We welcome differing opinions at IndianRingneck.com but when it turns nasty the mods WILL interject. Please try to take the advice given by all members in the way it was intended and keep things friendly. We are not here to shove our own feelings down others throats and mutual respect on EVERYONES side will go a long way.

I know.... I was like that too, but then I realize this is just a forum, so if someone bother you just think "who give a **** about that", we only know each other in the forum and we are like "internet" friend to each other, not real friends.
If you dont like that person opinion, counter it with your opinion, but dont counter with attack or offensive post, Im sure you will find something to say, just anything that make sense, you wont get beaten up if you say your opinion, the person you are talking to is far far away, and we meet through internet, so it wont hurt to post anything you want as long as it doesn't break the rule. Just post anything you want!
I know all these "dont let the bird stand on top of cage" is all people's opinion, if you dont like it then leave it, dont even care about it, do what you you think is good for your bird, its your pet afterall and noone has the right to tell you what to do, unless if you need help, but help doesn't come from one people, there are many answer and Im sure you can find the one that suit you. I kept lovy on top of cage and she is wondeful child, healthy, happy, smart and kind, she is MINE and NOONE has the right to tell me where to put her on, just like your ringneck, its all up to you.
I tell you again, if you dont like someone's opinion, just LEAVE IT ALONE, do not care about it, just think of it as passing wind.
Okay its up to you if you really want to leave, but nice knowing you and your ringneck, he is beautiful and he looks just like mine, the same age as well!
