moulting season NZ?

Hi, I'm a bit concerned my IRN (about 5 month old Pounamu) has been moulting the past few weeks. I have read a couple of posts on moulting here and it says IRN's moult after breeding season, breeding season here in New Zealand is around October (about six months ago). Should my IRN be moulting now? Or is it something I should take him/her to the vet for? I haven't seen any change in Pounamu's behaviour since s/he's been moulting and there are no signs s/he is plucking.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Don't worry babies do moult at strange times of year, his major moult will be Jan/Feb but as babies they are constantly replacing feathers
