Billy and Bell

Finally a picture of Billy and Bell .. its only one for now .. been full on. Had to lay over in melbourne, my daughters boyfriend was stabbed while at a party in Eltham and needed surgery. Luckily it was just his forearm, none of the other stabs made it through his clothing thank goodness.

So I just got home and quickly took this pic of the lovely little couple:-

Oh my gosh! I love that blue quaker...we can't have them here in California...so I've never gotten to see one in person

They are the cutest little things, really soft, with a cute little raspy voice. When they are scared or worried, they make this amazing growl sound, its so cute, sounds a little bit like a seagull.

Aww Angie they are adorable! I just wanna give em big kiss! Quakers how such cute lil voices.

I hope your daughters bf recovers and his injuries aren't too serious. Best wishes.

They are so cute. Billy is getting use to me slowly, I am trying to get him to step up, I can tell he knows what to do, but he is trying to bluff me right now. Bell is a little scared, but then I don't want her tame anyway. They make the most amazing growl sound and absolutely adore each other, Bell follows Billy around like a little lost puppy, reminds me of Mickey and Kai. When i ask for kisses, they both make a beautiful little kissy sound and their noise, well the level is not quite indian ringneck volume but they are not noisey (don't make noise alot!). Even so their sound is so much nicer than an indian ringneck contact call..lol.

I can't wait for breeding season so I can handraise some little ones and have really! tame youngsters. They will be the cheekiest most playful little things, I can tell already just from how Billy is. They are so soft to the touch also and the type of bird that will love scritches.

They remind me of a lori without the poop problem.

Oh and their bite, pfffftt, its not much more than a cockatiel.

he he its great to be back after over a year being away, they sound so adorable, my MBS is bubbling, and I hope they have lotsa babies
