Nala Laid a!n Egg

Nala laid #3 today. I don't have a male so there's no chance of babies, but I know if she continues to lay it isn't healthy for her. How do I get her to stop??
There's no nesting material in her cage, no nest box, no male IRN (I do have 2 male [I think] quakers and a male [I think] sun conure) but they do not interact with Nala.
I am giving her extra calcium in her food now, but trying to figure out how to stop her egg laying. She just lays them in the bottom of her cage. The one she laid today broke when it landed on the bottom grate
I know she loves me, but it's not healthy for her if she continues. Help!

Ok .. not in anyway familiar with this issue.. so I did some research. I hope others correct me if this is wrong or does not apply to IRN's but I found this helpful page on discouraging breeding behaviour in pet birds.

Maybe she will stop when breeding season is over?
Great that you are supplimenting her calcium, also plenty of green beans etc.
Good Luck ! keep us in touch with how things go

As long as your bird is on a good diet and like you said, supplemented with calcium... don't worry too much about it. I've had hens lay as much as 10 eggs in one season and they do just fine.
My birds are currently on a daily diet of collard greens, dandelion, and pellets. I feed them a small amount of seed mix (as a treat) and/or fruit in the evenings. Oh, and they haven't touched their calcium block for the past five years
PS.
Also make sure your birds get some direct sunlight on a regular basis.

Hey jobo2mi,
Aw, don't worry. The eggs will stop. I have never come across a chronic egg layer. It's breeding season and most ringneck females will lay an egg every other day until the clutch is complete--it be as many as four or five eggs. Just let her do her thing.
Hope this helps,

It's been a week and no more eggs! Thank heavens! She laid four for me and is such a lover bird again.....not that she ever had the hormone raging thing going on....she always loves me. I am just glad the eggs have stopped.
