HA ! tricked ya didn't I !!!
This is "Happiness" a Willow Tree - Susan Lordi hand carved statue, I just had to have. FREE to sing, laugh, dance .. create!
She is a reflection of myself

nice. Was the whole thing carved out of one piece or were the birds carved seperately and stuck on later. Very nice bit of carving if it was all out of one piece.

Susan hand carves each original then casts the pieces from the original carving. She says that Expression is revealed through gestures only .. a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. The simplicity of form and the absence of facial features signify her pieces.

I don't know her personally nor am I promoting the company, just listing it for those interested in these beautiful creations, I love them. When I was in Florida I saw them on sale at Hallmark and fell in love with Happiness, which of course was the only one none of the stores carried.
When I saw her here in our local and very small gift shop back in Australia I had to have her.
