They are all cute as could be.
I love the little doves. Know I've seen them many times.
Do they coo like the doves outside or do they make a differnt noise?

Hi, thanks for the comments. Yes, diamond doves have very sweet coos. The males also have a couple funny male dances. One where he sticks his chest out and lifts his wings like he's tha man, and the other more common bow coo, where he splays his tail feathers out and bows up and down a couple times. I'm his companion so he also tries to hump my hand all the time,

What cuties! Cheeky looks a lot like my pair (Elijah and Bonnie Blue) that have three hatchlings. Interesting how the African ringnecks look so similar, but have the beak differences, sorta looks like their heads are a bit different from the Indians as well?

My male eclectus used to do that to me too. It made my husband mad as all get out
Go figure, It took me weeks and weeks to figure out what he was doing.
When these birds attach to you they are for real arent't they?
I've seen diamond doves but never in a situation where they were handled, just aviary birds. Glad to hear they can be hand tamed
might one day have to consider them for pets.

Yea, it is sweet when they get attached, it's very rewarding. If you're curious about diamond doves there's a great site that tells about them:

Thanks
I'll hve to take some time and go through it and see what I can glean from it. Wonder how IRN and Doves would do in a large flight aviary.
If I ever get out of the city and back to country living my IRN will have an outdoor flight cage.
