Seperate cages

I am having a cage problem with my two. While Pepper and Silk are out all day, literally from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed, they are happy to play, chase each other and also do their own seperate things. When it comes to go to bed I put Silk in her cage and Pepper goes into the new cage that I got for her. Here is the trouble. While Silk will go to sleep hapily on her own Pepper will pace up and down the cage wall nearest to Silk's cage for a couple of hours before she will finally go to sleep. And its not a slow, lesurely climb its constant scrambling to try and get over to Silk. Me feeling bad, takes her out and lets her sleep in with Silk. Should I be doing this? Or should I make her tough it out and sleep in her own cage?
Guys? Jeremy? What should I do, I hate seeing Pepper upset. Silk doesn't care one way or the other really, so its mostly Pepper that I am worried about.

if they seem to be happy together i would let them sleep in the same cage

Sleeping together

I'd let them sleep together too until it becomes a problem.
If they begin to fight then you'll have to separate them and
you already have the cage so it shouldn't be traumatic for
either one of them.

My two sleep together and Priya runs Nila off the perch, so I finally put two perches at the top of the cage and now each sleeps on their own perch and they are both happy.

Boy that Priya is boss now huh?

I'd say let them sleep as long as there are no fights. Once those start...then it's tough luck to them

My birds sleep in the same cage.
