Black Beak.

i have noticed from the photo's of other IRN's is the bottom of their beack is black.
when does this change happen?

George is about 9 months old and I cant ay when his beak started to get black on the bottom I think it started around 6-7 months maybe sooner. I never really paid much attention to it though.

if the beak is black at the bottom, does this mean it may be a boy?

I am kinda sure it happens to both males and females.

Mrs. B has black under beak, but Luna my boy Lutino has a red one just like on top....I think it goes with most ringneck colors that get a black neck ring (in males and with female even if no ring)
Luna has a rose and white neck ring that lutino's get..so he has a red lower beak....I hope this makes sense.
