I just recently realized that George is grey, not blue.
Don't know why I thought he was blue. From a previous pic maybe.
He's really pretty. Tell me again, what color grey is he?
The tiels are so cute. I just love that top tuft on their heads.
Does George play with them or run them off the playstand?

George is a turquoise grey. I think that might be why you think he was a blue because his feathers look different in different light and the green highlights look cool in the sunlight.
George is buddies with the tiels. He freaks out if you take one to far away especially Doots. The tiels love him and when I take them out if someone is holding George it is not long before they have the tiels too. George will at least let the tiels get some distance away as long as he can see them.
My handicapped tiel Doots (I posted about him in the disabilities post in Miscellaneous commits it’s the post at the top that is marked) is Georges best friend he looks out for him. here is a pic of George preening Doots. It is a little blurry as i was in a hurry to get a pic because as soon as George sees the camera he gets all uncomfortable until it goes away.

This pic really shows the green highlights. It's really pretty. I'll have to go back and look at the post about Doots.
Glad to know they like each other. Gives the rest of us hope that our fids will get along.

George was snugly at the pets shop and when I brought him home good ol friendly Mack wanted to visit and play right then and there. George has been growing up with tiels as his only real bird socialization. I got Doots after George but not much longer after that. so Mack being several years older and Doots being almost the same age, George and Doots would play silly games and explore wile Mack preened and did old man stuff.
I didn’t know irn’s were not cuddly friendly birds until I came to this place, that’s when I learned that George is not a typical irn. He loves his morning snuggles and he loves to hang out under my chin, then there is the fact that he just loves the tiels and adores Doots.Don’t get me wrong George has those days were he is mister grumpy butt, although he isn’t as bad as some of the birds I have read about here.
