is pine safe ?

I have an outdoor aviary here all my birds live together , its prety big with a inside house for the night, and an outdoor area but my problem is that i whant to put some type of tree inside so the aviary look a bit more green and natural, i'm thinking in planting a pine tree is this tree ok ?
My aviary contains the following birds:
budgies (about 15)
indian ringnecks (1 male, 1 female and 2 babies
)
kakarikis (1 male , 1 female)
ringneck doves (5)
i think there is no problem in planting a pine tree inside the aviary because i use pine shavings for the nesting material of my birds and there is no problem with them, can someone give an opinion ?
