drift wood

Glad I looked at this forum. Living very near the beach in Bahrain we have loads of driftwood but never thought of using for Milo. Can anyone tell me what's the best thing to clean it with.

1 part bleach, 10 parts water, scrub scrub scrub, rinse WELL :wink:

if the pieces are small enough to fit in your oven-200 degrees 3-5 hours. I only use bleach if I can't get the wood in my oven....

Nolvasan is what vets use (anti-bacterial). You can find it online sometimes. It is safer than bleach. That being said, I've used bleach even for aquatic turtles to clean their ornaments and have never had a problem.
