In my quest for locating an avian rescue, i have been emailing all over the central and western NY area. The one avian rescue is closer then the other, and the woman said she has enough volunteers right now and would keep me in mind for the future. However she did say she has two tiels she'd like to adopt out, and one keet who lost it's cage mate. If i had the room i'd take all three, i am looking into adopting the keet as I just haven't been able to replace my Angelo and i think i would rather adopt one that needs a good home(even though in my mind they all do). There is no adoption fee, so i did a little more inquiring and hopefully i can get this little one. I think legacy would love a new friend to keep her company.
