George was doing his normal chatter this afternoon, well the two tiels joined in with their noises. To my surprise I, all of the sudden have three tiels. I look over and George is making a perfect imitation of the tiel contact call. This was perfect I mean it no variation or distortion. So now he is chattering away in irn speak with the occasional tiel call. I am so excited as I think he will start to imitate human sounds next. Hopefully, Keep your fingers crossed.

lol Isn't it funny! When I brough Jazzy home, she had been around a bunch of baby macaws while she was reared so she sqwaked like a macaw. Took her about a week to start making normal Ekkie noises. She still has a deeper, more raspy "voice" compared to other Ekkies I've heard from Ekkie breeders. I call it her macawean accent

And soon you'll be begging him to be quiet for just a minute so you can think...it'll be great!
