Hi everyone,
I just got an IRN about 3 weeks ago. It's the first bird I've ever had--I own a chow chow named Storm, and a Syrian hamster named Gandalf. I named my IRN Logan (had to get an X-Men reference in there).
I had thought about getting a bird for several years, but had not found the right bird. My friend Sheila works at a bird store nearby, and got my to come check it out. She was trying to talk me into getting a caique at first. When I walked to the back of the store, I saw the cage with the IRNs. There were 2 albinos, and this wonderful little pastel blue bird looking up at me. After him perching on my husband and I for about 30 minutes, I knew I had to bring him home. Logan came home with me a week later. Logan turns 7 months old this week, and he's a darling.
I'll post a picture of him when I can!
Later,
Andie
