Hi,
Breeding season depends on a few things. I have read it is the amount of light. Indoors it is typically December to May. Outdoors it is typically February to July. I have a pair that laid August and November. There are a few articles I have ran across that have more info on the matter.

These websites have working nestbox in December and laying in late January or February and the other states late February and early December. I would be cautious about playing with the humidity in a room, if one was considering this to help influence birds to nest. Too much humidity can cause soft eggs I have read! I hope this helps, best of luck!
