Funny stuff

These birds are so funny, I had no idea. PeeGee has gotten it into her head that she wants to stay in the shower all day. She walks into the bathroom, climbs up the shower curtain and perches on the towel rod. This is when the shower isnt even on!
She will repeat this again and again, until I close the bathroom door and lock her out.
She also likes to chew on ice cubes. She will steal them from my glass.
She will lick ice cream with her tongue! (don't worry, just a teensy bit).
I never knew birds had such personalities. I've had her for 2 years, and she still surprises me.
For all of you new owners, just let the bird interact with you as you go about your daily activities, and it will become your best pal.

I totally agree! Letting them be with you for the most mundane of stuff helps the bond...Prin loves to sit and watch everything

Oh how cute. I miss the sweet lil irn antics and their intellegent eyes!...uh oh, I'm craving irn again! Maybe a blue or green...... *mumbles to self* I havn't even picked up my ekkie yet!
I swear in a couple years I'll be able to charge people to come in my place and see "the zoo"!

IRN's are addicting! Missy-If I hear of an IRN in need of a wonderful home I will be sure to let you know! In the meantime--you can have admission to my zoo FREE anytime....I get my B&G at the end of Sept.--add her to the African grey, the lovebirds, the 2 IRN's and possibly now--3 quakers that need a home....anybody want a fischers lovebird ot two??lol
qualify as a zoo yet?
if not, maybe i'll fess up to the four-legged critters

I call it the animal house lol, there are only two people--the animals rule.
It is a bit crazy I know!
What is especially cute is how they all interact-the birds are talking to each other-the grey calls and gives commands to the dogs and throws them treats (HARRISONS
) as reward for sitting. The birds alsol call the kitties, then try to pinch their tails, talk to the neighbors, have whistle contests with the neighbors, and overall, are quite entertaining...the grey has one neighbor constantly running for her phone, they are too funny
