I have an IRN He is the green color and is mostly very friendly, he does say several things but he wont leave his feathers alone, we inherited him from a friend and dont have any ideal how old he is.
But, he keeps pulling out all his feathers and now as of this morning he has pulled out his tail feathers also, He has been taken to the vet, with no success, he is mostly covered in the grey fuzz except for his head and the dark ring around his neck is beautiful. What can I do?

we have had Feekie for about 4 months

10-1 he’s grieving his past owner(s).
The best thing you can do is give him lots and lots a attention and keep his occupied. Soon he should stop plucking.

Try putting vaseline or the like on his body. He won't like the thick oily paste and will not pluck. This will give the new feathers a chance to grow back.

I also just read a good book on natural healing for parrots and you could try putting one drop of 'Bachs Rescue Remedy' under his wing to destress him. You can get the stuff from the health food shop.

Will try the Vaseline and will look at the Health Store for the drops, I am looking for anything that will help, The people we got him from, had the same problem with Feekie, Will keep you informed of his outcome, Thanks for all your help
