G'day,

I am buying a breeding pair or lutino Indian ringnecks which are currently in an aviary, would they be okay coming inside into a large cage.. And possible breed next season ?

Also apparently one of the birds have a dicky wing would this be a bad bird to breed with could it cause defects to the chicks ?

It depends why that wing is bad. If the bird has a defect that happened naturally, born with it or it developed naturally, then that bird should not be let to breed. Physical traits, including disease and deformity, can be passed from parent to young. If you consider evolution, you will have a great idea of how this works on a really big scale. Breeders can address the concern of whether an unfit bird is likely to be compromised during the rigor of breeding and nesting.
