Relocating IRN

Hi, Honey my IRN is around 3yrs old... I initially bought her for my family (parents & siblings: ages from 4-13). She was a friendly bird, went on everybody's shoulders. But when my parents moved, she came to live w/ me (I live by myself). She has become very possessive of me, I think she thinks I'm her mate. She'll try to attack anybody who is near me, so she's ALWAYS in the cage when I have company....
My question is that I'm thinking of giving her back to my parents b/c my neighbor's complain about her noise....
The last time I took her to their house she would would let my brothers pet her, but suddenly would bite them... At my parents house she will get alot more attention/handling then what I could give her...do you think she'll become a "friendly" bird again?

I would suggest clicker training. It will help a lot.
Yes I think in time she will become friendly.

Thanks for your help. But what will a clicker do? I've never introduced that to her before, will she listen?

A clicker is a smoll piece of metel. when you press it it makes a
CLICK sound.
1. Depressed birds regain their joy in life
2.One-person birds warm up to other family members
3.Scared birds learn to cooperate with simple care such as nail clipping
4.Undesirable behaviors such as screaming and biting fade away
5.Baby birds grow up to be outstanding companions
6.Rescued and older birds learn to trust, love, and play
7.Birds win new friends with appealing tricks and games
and more
and that’s just the beginning.
I just started a few days ago and Caruso loves it.

now is it that the birds "like" the noise?

first you start out w/ a clicker, some treats and your bird.
Make sure that the treats are your bird's favorite.
You are going to teach her/him that CLICK = treat.
You do this by pressing the clicker and just as soon as you do that you give him/her a treat. You keep this up till your bird knows that CLICK = treat.
Its quite simple.
