I just got a IRN about a week ago. He's bleeding out of one of his tail feathers. What should I do?

Cornstarch will stop the bleeding, then get him to a vet or breeder ASAP, or if you are comfortable enough, and know how (and what to look for) PULL that feather ASAP!

I looked closer and its 2 or 3 or the middle tailfeathers. its bleeding right now but it happened about 5 days ago and i thought it was something he must have landed in and washed it off and i noticed it again today and looked closer. Are you sure I should pull them out?

Kayaq Yes you have to pull the broken tail feathers out or take it to some one that knows how to do it. If this happen 5 days ago they could get infected. Good luck keep us posted. Donna
