do the irn females get the ring around the neck aswell

Females Ringnecks do not get rings around their necks at all. Males acquire their rings at about 18 months of age, some up to 2 years.

The female Ringneck looks much like a juvenile Ringneck; only difference is the eye color and beak up till a certain point.

Females are more heavily built and fleshy, while males are somewhat fleshy and smaller built.

I would tend to disagree a little , Some female Indian Ringnecks , do get a very faint ring around their necks. The Latino female , does not get any ring , and the male Latino , gets a very pretty pinky/red ring instead of of the black of greens and such. Hope you didn't mind me adding my opinion.

But I have seen DNAed female Ringnecks with faint rings.

You’re absolutely right; females do indeed have a ring around their neck that is faint. I guess I should have worded it better.
