My funny little Remmi

Post by jen5239 »

He's such a silly little bird! The other day he was cruising on the floor. Which he loves to do. Doesn't mind that there are twelve dog legs roaming the same floor at any given moment. And he loves dog toys. So he's on the floor playing with one of the dog toys made of fabric and he got so into playing with this toy that he was lying on his back kicking it with his legs. Holding it in his beak and kicking the snot out of it. It was so funny to watch. He was rolling around with it and just having so much fun. Then he'd get it draped over his neck and walk around with it like it was a boa or something. I was laughing so hard at him. And of course my camera was nowhere around. But it was just so stinkin' cute.

Don't they just crack you up when they are playing? I love it when Atticus gets a toy in her claw and pretends that it's stuck on, thumping it up and down on the floor, biting it and growling the whole time like she can't get it off. Then she'll throw it across the floor and run up and jump on it and start fully going for it. Cracks me up. But you can't let her see you laughing or she'll stop, little bugger.

Thanks for asking Jen - we are both doing fine. She hasn't lost many feathers lately - but I'm just waiting for the next moult - I'm sure she's going to look quite different after that. I just hope that the feathers are the only side effect - I'd hate for her to get depressed or sick in any way. I wonder if I'll notice depression? How do they show it I wonder. I certainly know when she's cranky!
