Interesting to know

I just got the August issue of Bird Talk magazine and thought this was very interesting and handy to know. Lord forbid you ever need to know this but just in case....

If a bird gets tangled in a fly strip or other sticky substance, reach for the peanut butter. Its a nontoxic adhesive solvent that works quickly. Follow it with unscented, gentle soap or liquid hand cleanser. The soap should be washed off meticulously.

I hope no one ever needs to do this but if anything like this happens wouldn't hurt to know.
