We are feeding fresh fruits like apples by our hand at times lucky eats. Most of time lucky takes the apple piece and drops it. I pick the same piece and it does the same. when I put the same apple piece in lucky's food basket lucky eats and before eating it calls us to show it is eating now. I don't understand why lucky does this, is it playing with us ?.

Chookie does the same. I think it is a game to them...who knows the complexities of a birds mind!! As long as he is eating, I wouldn't be worried about how he does it.
