I love looking at the enlarged picture on the second thumbnail. The detail, the colour in the eyes, the patterns of the feathers, absolutely wonderful when you get a good digi pic like that.
That was taken with a Kodak Z740 zoom digital camera, thats a 5 megapixel camera and what a beauty, great camera , great picture
Jim and I only have the DX6490 4 meg camera, but it has the Schneider - Kreuznach Variogon Lens. I can't remember what lense the Z740 has.
With the blue's the colours seem to be dramatically different depending on the type of light. With flash they look powder blue, natural filtered light they look almost violet blue and in sunlight they will look bright sky blue.

It all depends on the way the flash hits him the pics in the first post the flash is off.
The pic in the box below is with flash off and the next the flash is on but he is more the light blue then the violet shade...

He's now 10 weeks old and today went for his first nail trimming and had everyone at the vet office going gah gah over him 
Now he's sitting so smug like saying *look at me, Yes Me*
He's really starting to try to fly now too and trying to catch him with the camera is hard but it was nice tonite he tried to fly to me so it made me feel like I'm doing something right with him.
More pics coming soon.
As for the camera we bought it for christmas with the printer dock and they print so clear!! I can scrapbook Merlins photo album as soon as the pics are taken.
