Hey guys,
I don't want to take anything away from what poor Dani and her family are suffering thru right now. But I wanted to share this. Wed. night phone rings and it's my husbands ex b**ch. She's freaking out cuz Sara's got a bad headache and can't walk. LONG STORY SHORT! She ended up in the emergency room presenting like she'd had a stroke! Her entire left side was paralyzed. Mind you she's only 10. But all the tests were coming back ok. So the doctor was completely baffled. They decided to send her to a children's hospital about an hour and a half south of here. So on the road we headed. They did an MRI, Cat Scan, XRays, Blood work, and an E.E.G. Well all came back ok except the E.E.G. Which is a scan of her brain. Something abnormal on it. She's been diagnosed with a "complicated" migraine. She's home now and she can walk again and she can grasp things in her left hand and her face isn't paralyzed anymore. But what a scary thing! AND!!!!! LISTEN UP ANYONE WHO'S INVOLVED IN DIVORCE SITUATIONS THAT CAN BE UGLY.......... He said this is probably brought on by "family stress." Said he could see it in her face. Now how freakin' sad is that??? Said there are two types of people in the world--headache givers and takers. And our little Sara is a taker. She just takes in all the stresses of the world and doesn't know how to communicate or deal with it and this is what happened. HOW SAD IS THIS?? So think about it before you inadvertantly say anything negative about the ex or anything. I know we all try to not do that for our babies, but I know I'm guilty of it. I HATE her "mother" with a passion! Now mind you, this is a woman who called the Health Dept. on John and I cuz we have birds and they carry disease. Well the Health Dept. just laughed at her. But nevertheless she did it. And sometimes I forget and spout off. I never say mean things, but I tell Sara as much as her Mother dislikes me I dislike her. And I'm sure that doesn't make her feel good. Life is so hard at times! Anyway, just more drama to add to my pile. Thanks again for listening.
Hugs,
Jen

Its really not hard to be adults .. especially when our most loved and near and dear innocents are involved. But then we are only human and can only do our best, we are far from perfect and always will be. Just remember:-

Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love .. Eph 4:2

love everything and everything with love.

*hugs*
