Hey guys just thought I'd let you know I wont be on for the weekend. My daddy had an accident at work. It was a big accident...he lost his leg below the knee. I am so upset right now, out of my mind with cryng. He underwent surgery today and there was no saving it. They say he will be able to get a protstithes(?) so he may be able to walk again.

Guys I am so upset...this is my daddy. It hurts so much

So terrible!!! I sure can understand that you are upset. Who wouldn't be that!!! My sisters husband went through the same thing 7 years ago. He had an accident the foot and ancle was totaly smashed, the thigh had two broken bones and the kne had someting bad to. The smashed leg was his left and the other injuries was the right. He had to amputate the smashed one. Today - 7 years later - he walks, well, almost runs, works full time, does everything that other people does.

So when you get a little distance to all this you will see that there are hope. For now - cry if you need to do it. We, ll be here for you! *hugs*

OMG Dani! I'm crying as I write this. Dani, baby, I'm so so so sorry! I wish I could be there for you! I'm sending you BIG HUGS! Oh gosh, I just don't know what to say. You ALWAYS helped make me feel better! You are a wise young lady, so you'll be ok! He'll be ok sweetie! This is going to be a MAJOR life changing event for him, but at least it was only his leg he lost! I know that sounds horrible, but it could've been a lot worse. Oh Dani! I'm hugging you mentally right now! I'm going to say lots of prayers for you and your daddy and your family! I'm so terribly sorry! Be strong and know that God had this in his plans for your Daddy! They say he doesn't give us more than we can handle. Why this happened we'll never know, but... I know this probably isn't helping. I just wish I could be there for you! Tell your Daddy that he's got people literally all over the world praying for him. It'll be hard for God to ignore us! That helped my family when they were down. When I told them about all of you and how much you all cared. And how you were all praying for us. And God listened, my Daddy didn't suffer and he went quickly and peacefully. So... If you need anything, and I can do it I'M HERE FOR YOU!!! Please don't forget!

oh Honey, I am so terribly sorry!

My stepdad, who might as well be my real dad, had a major accident about two months ago and nearly cut off all the fingers on his right hand. He's still in recovery, and the scars are horrible, but at least they are still there.

Don't beat yourself up, and just love him madly!!!

Thank you guys sooo much for you support and kindness. Ya'll are so like family to me...I really appericate it. Keep my daddy and my family in your prayers and we should get through this. It's hard but sadly it's now a reality. He atleast has the option of walking again.
