ringnecks and the cold

Post by nance »

Hi
I have two ringnecks whom sleep next to an open window.Temps here in Qld Australia get as low as 4-6 deg. celsius, its about 12 deg celsius now. What are the ideal range of temps for ringnecks, are they too cold? Any help will be great. :?
Hello there. im no expert but i have read time and time again about birds being kept in drafts being unhealthy, but this one guy wrote ' if drafts were responsible for a birds death then why when they are flying at top speed , dont they drop from the sky' i thought this was a good point. it can be a tad drafty up ther at top speed, i think u would be able to tell if ur birds where uncomfortable. But hey hold on a while and someone might tell u different. Natalie xxxx
