Eddie looking outside
It was Tuesday at lunchtime, and pouring with rain,
Poor Eddie the ring neck, was going insane
She sat on the couch, and looked out the door
She’d already destroyed, the things on the floor

Dad, can I go out and play?
She wanted to go out, and play in the rain,
Because I wouldn’t let her, was being a pain
She snuck off with my filters, tore open the pack,
She must have been watching, till I turned my back,

It's not Fair!

I,m going to wreck these!
She pulled out the filters, and tore them to bits
She knew that the damage, would give me the ****s
Then I thought, does it matter, if Eddie gets wet
She’d be wet in a tree, if she wasn’t a pet

Eddie wrecking my filters

Eddie in the rain
I took her outside, and she spread out her wings
Fluffed up her body, and started to sing
She hopped, skipped and jumped, all over the place
And I’m sure that I saw, a smile on her face

Pass the shampoo please

Flying in the rain
She put her head down, and let the rain through
Then all of her feathers, looked shiny and new
The rain had eased off, and Eddie looked glum
She looked at me funny, like I’d stopped her fun

I'm ready to go inside now
I put out my hand, and Eddie jumped on
We went back inside, and nothing was wrong
Eddie was happy, and now so was I
And I didn’t care, how much time had gone by

That suns warm, and thats a pretty bird in the window
She stood on the couch, and out came the sun
So she ended up dry, and still had some fun
And what had it cost, some time from my day
You should never be, to busy to play!
