Tiki had us laughing again last night.........

Last night after our Mother’s Day dinner, we are all sitting in the living room and Tiki was sitting on my lap enjoying many scritches and making all kinds of cute little sounds and talking too. While he was making those cute little noises while I was giving him scritches around his neck, I said “Oh does that feel good?” and Tiki said “Yeah!” I thought for sure I must have misunderstood him, because he has never said that word before, so a few minutes later I asked him again and again he said “Yeah!” Everyone heard it this time and started laughing. I guess Tiki picked up this word from Emmy (our Nanday Conure) because when we pet her she will say “Oh Yeah!” You never know what these little fids of ours will come up with next. Anyway, that was a GREAT Mother’s Day present for me, because it sure did bring a smile to my face and warmed my heart!

How funny is that. Mikaela has often said that her baby talks in context. What a shame you didnt catch it on video. Thanks for sharing anyway, Natalie xxxxxxx

I once again am so jealous! I sure hope my babies will talk. I would love that. How fun! I said if Byndi talks and repeats what she hears she'll sound like a big pervert. Cuz when I'm giving her scritches I say, "does that feel good. Oh yeah, baby that feels good huh." So would not sound right to hear a bird just come out of the blue saying that. Tee hee.

Talking...mrs. Jen takes time! Give 'em a few months...they'll hopefully start. Personally I never cared if the white brat talked, I love her anyway...I guess the talking is a bonus for me. Of course showing the vids helped ALOT...my Prinny talks with that Dats accent and Baby's too! Way cute to hear

tehe Jen, I can just picture it, her coo'ing and arching her head back as the girls do and saying oh yeah baby, does that feel good.
I swear kai is coming out with wildcards all the time now, just waiting for something conitnuous. He still practices the " Hey ba-by " but have heard all kinds of things inlcuding .. Mumma .. coz I say,, kiss mumma all the time. He just has to get clearer and more consistent.

i could just picture someone coming to visit jen and byndi saying ooh yeah baby. but its pretty funny when they start mixing the things we say to them in together. indie was calling the dogs and whistling now he either calls me or tiffany and whistles then says come on.

Talking is great but over-rated.
Baby talks ALOT and unlike a person you cant ask her to shut up. She talks to me, herself, her foot, her perch, her food dish...
Yesterday we were all sitting on the lania and she was calling Here kitty kitty kitty... c'mere kitty... wanna be a good girl? Moow. She cant say meeeeow only the mmoooww sound.
Then she gets in the middle of the cage so they cant reach her and torments them for as long as they will allow it before walking away.
Grrr HE he he he damn, cant get that right, whatsit matta?
