This morning Tiki was out playing on his tree/gym and my daughter walked up and was just standing there looking at him, she didn’t say a word, just stood there. Well Tiki was on the far side of the tree/gym and he climbed to the side where my daughter was standing until they were about eye level with each other and he got as close to her as he could and he even craned his neck closer to her. Then he looked her straight in the eye and said “Hello!” This really took my daughter by surprise and she almost fell over laughing. She always says Tiki doesn’t like her, but I guessed he proved her wrong this morning!

How sweet is that. I want my babies to talk! Dang it.

I could actually visualise that happening and it made me laugh. Would have been sooooo funny to see. As much as I love my little one I do hope he talks.

indie does that to me if i just stand there and not say anything to him.tell your daughter to stay still and keep looking at him to see if he tries to get her attention by talking more to her.
