Mirror

When my Indian ringneck looks into the mirror he makes like a growling sound and tries to bite it. What does this mean

is he lunging and attacking?...

from what I can tell every bird seems to have a slightly different reaction to seeing themselves in the mirror... just make sure he isn't stuck in front of the mirror in case he doesn't like it.. If he insists on attacking himself just let him.

He attacks and then growls but then he puts his head down like in defeat

My bird drops his head and fluffs a bit when i try to give him attention while he doesn't want any.
