Does anyone know how many days you need to continue the ornalyte in the water after bringing the ringneck home? (the stuff for during a period of stress)

Also, I'm going out of town in a week and will have someone coming by each day to spend time with the bird and take care of him. Should I continue the ornalyte in the water during that time since the person will be a stranger to him and I won't be around?

Not having english as my first langugae...could you please axplain to me what "ornalyte" is? Then I might be able to answere...

I may be totally wrong but in Australia we have a product which i think is similar to what you are questioning. It is called Avicycline. I have been told to use it for 14 days for a sick bird and 7 days for distressed or irritable birds. You should notice a difference within 5 days. Hope this helps and that the product is simiar.
