Is my parrot molting or is there something wrong?

i have a indian ringneck parrot that is 5 years old and he has lost a lot of feathers on his head. I'm not sure if he is molting because out of all the times he has he hasn't lost as many feathers. Can someone help me out?

Not every molt is the same. Oscar's last molt, he looked scrounge and scruffy. Like bed head scruffy. Have you posted enough to post a pic yet? Seeing it might help.
