Ok so I just got back from visiting my soon to be eclectus...he is so adorable. Now mind you...these birds are like IRNs and aren't too cuddly. They are highly intellegent and take some time to get used to a new person but Bodi seems to take to me. He is so sweet...I can't wait until I can bring him home. I wish I could have taken some pics cause let me tell you he is a heart stopper (even if he is going through his molt)

I just love the feel of having a large bird on my arm. It so natural and after having tiels and Prinny for so long I had just about forgtton how special those larger birds are! Not that he'd replacing my beautiufl and very spoiled Prinny but he will have a special place for me...

The ekkie the breeder down the road has, the one I go to visit to get it out of my system, she is a cuddler, she is soo sweet and just loves to take scritches and kisses and all kinds of love!

I love eclectus's. I too like the feel of a big bird. I stopped at the pet store today and a cockatoo said "hello" as soon as I walked by and immediatly jumped on my arm for a head scritch.
