What a beautiful day!

Of course, we've wasted most of it powerwashing cages LOL, but the birds got to explore outside and enjoy the sunlight.
I'll put the IRN pics first, but thought I'd share a bit more of the crew too...
Pretty Sage, playing in the big flight.

Mazzie didnt get to go out BTW, she's moody as hades today and I didn't feel like spending my entire time out there chasing her away from other birds.
This is Ruby, she's going home very soon!

LOL, but the sun isnt out anymore!

beautiful pics!
we had heavy rain and winds come in off the ocean for the last few days.
but I do love the atmosphere here when its all dark and dramatic.. light the fire and cuddle up !

LOL, we have a boy Ekkie here too.
However, they aren't *our* birds. They are residents of Feathered Family, birds who will be going onto other homes once they are ready.
Running a rescue can be a royal pain, but the great thing is getting to spend time with so many species. I really enjoy the Ekkies, they are fun birds with unique personalities. Ringnecks remain my favorite, followed by macaws, but the Ekkies climb that ladder every day

Oh man I'd be in BIG trouble if I lived in Colorado, anywhere close to you Athena...
I always did want one of the larger birds hence my want for an ekkie or an alex. One of these days Prinny will no longer be the only bird.
