Tomorrow is our first trip to the vet for our fids to get their wings and toe nails trimmed. I'm so worried that Byndi is going to hate me and not allow me to pet her anymore! I'm excited to get Fly Boy's wings done. You should have seen him flying all over the house last night! At one point something spooked Milo and he took off so Remmi then took off and I could hear John in a panick. So I go in the living room just as Remmi is flying out of Sara's bedroom right past my head and it scared the daylights out of me! So it's time! Then I can take them outside for the first time! It's been killing me these beautiful days and I can't go anywhere near the door with them. Can't wait. Of course it's supposed to rain all weekend and be kind of chilly. FIGURES! Anyway, keep your fingers crossed!

Just be patient and all will go well. Do not let Byndi see you and it should go smoothly.

You do know that even with clipped wings birds can still fly away. Please use a harness if you take them outside.

Things went just fine at the vet. They weren't really happy they were there and Remmi is just not having as much fun now that he can't fly everywhere. But... And yes, they still love me. I'm so happy about that.
