Hello!

This is my second parrot named Rango. I am not sure what gender is my new Indian Ringneck friend. There are some photos of Rango. I think the year he has hatched is 2011. I hope that it will turn out male because I already have a beautiful 4-year-old IRN.

My Guess is Male.
People tend to mistake the light ring around a female IRN for the shades off their neck feathers...

It looks to be a hen

Also males get their neckring around 2-3 years of age, yours does not have 1.

Parrotlover,

My first instinct is that it's a male but if he did hatch in 2011 he should have had his ring by now so I'm guessing it's female.
