Hi,
I'm new to this forum, i own a ring neck since 09 Feb 2014, she was 30 days old when i bought her.
All these days she was fine, we use to feed her health mix powder through syringe from beginning days, but today i noticed when i fed her the mix through syringe , it comes out through her neck, i.e. think there is a hole, it flows out through that what ever i feed her through syringe ( i mean liquid food). I didn't see any blood coming through it, I'm scared, and worried. don't know what i should do. i feed her the mix when it is warm.
Somebody help me with your suggestions, what should i do... I'm worried.
Thanks,
Rajan

Please take your bird to an vet, preferably an avian or exotics specialist!
Re: Food comes out through her neck
It sounds like you may of pushed the syringe through the crop wall.
Urgent Avian Vet ASAP.
I hope something can be done if this is the case.
Fingers crossed, I am wrong.

Wow I'm not expert but I would most definitely get that bird to a vet or you are going to end up with a much bigger problem .
Re: Food comes out through her neck
wow this is... ugh...
okay.. how has this turned out?.. and are you supposed to put a syringe down their throats that far?
I have no experience with this but I would imagine not going any further than the back of the tongue. (that's a totally uneducated random guess)
