hi there im nabzo and my wife just purchased a indian ringneck thats 4months old

this website is so informative and i love this site ,,

im new and its our first parrot , please teach me what i should do ofcourse his biting now becasue he dont know me and my wife what should i do to tame him down and start getting used to us

i dont know how to read the signs of my IRN if it likes me but it lets me touch its beck and then i try to pet the head and then i see he want to bite me .
im new to all this and still learning i see he love apples he eats from my hands but when i put it in the feeding bowl he dont go there as the bowl has seeds and the apple ,,

also when i put my hand inside he starts to climb up in the cage i guess his scared

the pet shop said its 4months old what can i look for that will let me its a male or female ..
