Hi! Can someone tell me whether tree branches from plum tree is safe for our feathered friends?

I checked the website (Birdsnways) provided here but could not find anything related to plum tree branches. Saw some other website indicating that it is safe, so wasn't too sure whether I should be using it or not.

According to a website I came across http://www.cockatielcottage.net/houseplants.html
it indicate that Plum trees are toxic to birds. If it is questionable, I would not introduce it to my birds. Hope this helps!
