hi all. i posted on here here a few months back when i got two irns from an avairy whch were 5months old and not tame. since then they have improved loads there eating off me through the cage and i let thm out all the time. at first when once it started getting dark and theyd go back for food id close the cage,so they understand its bed time. now this last week as soon as they see me approching there cage, they bomb out like bullets and then i cant get them in.

also ive been talking to them in generall all the time and try putting my hand in with apple which they love but they fly to back and wont move. i think as theres two of thm im finding it harder.

I am amazed nobody has repleid to you sooner Rebecca, you will find lots of info about this problem in the forum. Do they get 12 - 14 hours sleep, is one more williing to going back in? Try not putting your hand in their cage but by all means put treats in when they are out make sure they can see you do this. There are various ways to train them check out the forum.
Hope it works out for you. :D

The trouble you have is made worse by having two, they have each other. Try working on the bolder of the two but do not force them to respond, sit by the cage and talk to them before you let them out, eat your meals while they are still in their cage, try offer treats though the bars, and then at the cage door. 4 months is not very long. I am sure someone will be able to help you more than l can.
