What colour do you think my babies will be?

The father is a cinnamon green colour?
The mother is a medium sort of blue.
They have three babies, but I am handraising only one. It's a bit over 2 weeks old, and its feathers are only just starting to come through. I'm excited to see what colour he/she will be

I don't know much about the genetics and colour combinations, so if you do, could you please say what colour it will most likely be?
Thanks

Could you email pics of the birds to me and ill post them. It's hard to make a determination without a visual. Thanks

if normal Blue- see my avatar, then Blue, Green, Cinnamon Blue and Cinnamon Green. All Cinnamon babies will be hens
Ignore- those results are for a Cinnamon Green cock x Blue hen
back to you Skys

Smart dogs
I was eatting boiled corn on cob, he looked with full concentration at me for a couple of minutes, i gave him a go at it...
you should have seen him eatting like a human grabbing the corn off the cob with his teeth and turning the cob with his paw, i was shocked how quickly he picked it up. & he likes sunflower seeds
Sorry Emily i went off topic.

I have a melanistic Black & Tan shep from working lines....her name is Fenrir----- I think she's quite 'wolfy'
smart dog. eats
anything- even the bird seed. (can't leave the gate open to the back or she steals it from the container at night

)

I've caught my dogs a time or two with their heads in the bird seed
Now back to Emily...I'm no good with edge results. Shey or Ben, can one of you do it?

it is really easy once you know the mode of inheritance..
SL Edged males can be either df or sf (df is quite rare)
sf(hetrozygous) cocks will pass it onto their sons and daughters about half of the time, df(homozygous) cocks will pass it on 100% of the time.
SL Edged hens can only be sf (but are the phenotype of a df male), pass it on only to their sons 100% of the time.
now you try

Ok...lets see if I have this right.
The babies could be
Males- grey blue, blue, turquoise blue, and turquoise grey all split to cinnamon.
Females- grey blue cinnamon, blue cinnamon, turquoise blue cinnamon, and turquoise grey cinnamon
With about 50% of all babies SL Edged
Is that correct?

Hey Ben, you wouldn't have a pic of a edged TurquoiseBlue cock would you? There's a lady who has what I believe to be an edged bird that I wanted to show.

thanks--- was expecting the flights to be whiter... would you happen to have a pic of a Cinnamon TurqBlue Edged? - that's probably what hers is then- if you do I'll link her to that one instead- as the first would only confuse I think lol
- many thanks
ps- I told her to open up the flights- and she said will after the season, but I wanted to show her a pic of one in the meantime.
actually scrap all that- I don't know what her bird is- I'll pm you.

I'm not entirely clear on clear flights.
I assume DF Edged &+- Cinnamon has to do with it, but one can wonder if Misty or the like is in there too.

Here's the trick
The name tells all - SL Dominant
So you know Cinnamon and how it works yes?
SL Edged is the same !
1 single difference: all offspring that would have been splits in Cinnamon
in SL Edged are Visual
unlike Cinnamon: males are SF & DF , hens EF with phenotype of a DF as you already know.
Example: Green X edged hen
all males are edged
(cinnamon you'd have all males split)
that easy

My original baby has turned out to be grey. Gorgeous little thing. So cute :3 I named him Sookie, as he constantly makes little noises when he's hungry, wants to be scratched or picked up haha.
I checked the box today and discovered the youngest is beginning to get grey feathers also, and the middle one is a beautiful pastel sort of aqua that fades into a darker blue and green. I've taken him/her in today.
Thanks for your help though guys
