not a very interesting topic, but I'm wondering at what age normals or mutations that are supposed to have grey feet, get grey feet- or are they hatched with them?
Cheers

thankyou Lee, that was as I thought- but wasn't sure.
I know what you mean about the colour intensifying- I have/had two normals whose feet had yellow-ish pigment in them from age I suspect.
My 5yr old Blue still has grey feet with no discolour as do my two yearling normal violets.
Hope you have better luck next year regarding mutations and your Alex's- lovely collection you have

You forgot his name already??? Tsk tsk.
Kratos is his name....Greek god of strength

I think he requires a brass plaque on his flight
On the feet issue...puzzle me this...hamlet was born with pink feet and dark nails. His nails actually molted out and lightened to a clear by 6 months of age. Very odd lol.

yes, I'm always on the look out for something different... however it is my chicks that choose not to be normal- all have fleshy coloured feet, 2 with black/dark nails, and one with light.
