Is this a male or female grey cleartail??

I got this bird without the ring so cannot tell the age i thought it was a female so paired it with a male, is it a young male?? i have got some pictures of it in march when i first got it and also in April after one month??

It could be a cock or hen grey ch ct as you said it has no leg ring.
I no it shows it has some white on its head but I breed some ch ct this year myself whitch Thay
Had quiet a bit of colour on Their head. I would say you need to have this bird DNA or surgical sex.

Are CHCT birds strong enough to pair colour to colour? Is that why the price of split CHCTs are so low?
