Male or Female Gizmo

I got him at 5 weeks old and hand fed him to weaning He was hatched on 03/08/2013. So he is about 7 months old he has molted and just got down with it. He walks around with his wings up a little neck stretched out long! but when I pet his neck he bends in back. I only have finches other then him. I am thinking about getting a quaker but I have not yet he is very protective of his play area and does not like me entering it so I am worried about another bird in it. Sorry side tracked lol I was going to get him DNA but I have not yet. He is starting to get the black lines between the eyes and he seems to be getting a darker ring under his beak. Any ideas?
