hello everyone,
my indian ringneck has a bald patch near his eye, in between his eye and beak. His had this for about over a month now but what could this be. I have 2 cats that barely go next to him, could it be stress, or is it a breeding condition. I feed him seeds, fresh fruits or vegies daily. I rarely see him itch or scratch himself, so i dont think its lice.

Hello Khaled,
Is your bird moulting??? My bird has something similar but it's not bald. Just a thin grey-brown line from the eyes to the nostrils. Hope it's nothing serious.

No I don't think its molting, but the patch has some feathers growing on the skin,

Weird, same as mine, Very short feathers.

Look at the second picture. The line between the eye and cere is what I was describing. Hope this is normal
