This past year I paired a 1.0 Blue Violet Turquoise male to a 0.1 Blue hen.

When I use the genetics calculator I am checking

Violet Single Factor
Turquoise Visual

At this point, the options go back and forth for either "Blue" or "Turquoise" to be selected, but you can not select both to add "Blue" in when describing the visually blue-violet turquoise male.

The results generated are that all offspring are either turquoise
blue or turquoise blue violet.

The problem I am having is the offspring are normal blue and normal blue violet. So I am guessing I should be checking an additional radial button on the calculator such as "Splits to Blue" for the male? Which does produce the visual blue and violet blue options. I just cant figure out why I would have to do that if Turquoise (parablue) is also adding a blue factor for the violet(?)
